Off-Shore Trusts
I regularly act in offshore trust disputes, often in cases involving multiple jurisdictions and AML, proceeds of crime, asset freezing and forfeiture issues.
I advise fiduciaries, both in New Zealand and offshore, on New Zealand foreign trust issues including the application of the Trusts Act 2019 (NZ), the interpretation of trust deeds, and various trust related disputes, including applications to remove or appoint trustees, protectors, or beneficiaries.
I am admitted as a Barrister in the Cook Islands and work closely with fiduciary service providers in that jurisdiction.
